I just saw a channel 9 news story that the highly anticipated iPhone 4’s Australian release may be delayed. This is due to the highly publicised issues with the flawed antenna design.
There are so many reports out on the Internet that prove this issue, videos etc.
CEO Steve Jobs has reportedly said that ‘your holding it wrong’ and ‘it’s just a phone, get over it’

Now I don’t know about you. But if I had bought the iPhone 4 only to find that I cannot hold it a certain way because the signal would drop, I would be pretty pissed off.
A ‘bumper’ case fixes this issue, it’s only available from apple and it cost $30, How Convenient!!

The news story mentioned a potentially recall. This would cost apple a whopping $2Bn!!!! Their share price has also dropped by 8% since the iPhone 4’s release in the US.

I hope they recall it, that way my contract would be closer for a free upgrade by the time they get around to fixing it.

Either way I just can’t understand how a fault like this could of been missed during it’s testing. Especially for a high calibre company like Apple.

The new Apple store in Shanghai opened today. It’s been built in typical Apple pretentiousness. A glass tower, rising up from the centre of a round courtyard. A spiral staircase leads you down into the store.
If you have a look at the photo below, you will see what I mean.
In all honesty it does look pretty cool However if you look closely at the image, I cannot see anywhere for wheelchair access. So basically, if you have a disability Mr. Jobs doesn’t want you in his store.

he said they are just heading to the city. uhhh isnt it like a law that a cabbie cannot refuse a fair.

Some days I still can’t believe that lost is over.
It’s the one of the best TV show I have seen and now it’s finished!
There seems to be something missing in my weekly TV download ritual.

It was a great last episode, however many others hated it to the bone.
Yes, it left alot unanswered! But for a show that was full of mystery wouldn’t it be fitting to end with more mystery and spectualtion?!
I loved it!

Not only has LOST finished but it’s also the end of the ratings season in the US. Thus leaving all the other awesome shows I watch religously either getting cancelled or on hiatus for a next season renewal.
Smallville, Supernatural, Stargate Universe, NCIS & LA are just to name a few.

I guess it’s opened the time I have for tv watching to ‘catch up’ on tv I havnt watched. Like Big Bang Theory. I never really gave that show any credit, even tho I still have every ep until it current one. It’s a really good show, especially if your a self confessed geek like myself!

Well train stop comin up, that was a great way to fill in some time….

It enables me to access Twitter, calendar, weather, SMS/mail/missed calls and loads of other things right from my lock screen

You can even hide it by double tapping the status bar.

Info shade allows you to access it from any app. Even the home screen.

It is compatible with QuickReply so I can reply to an SMS without having unlock or even leave the current app.

SnowCover is just a iPod skin for the lock screen. It also alows for gestures to pause, change volume and even tracks

All of these are availble from cydia on the BigBoss and ModMyI repos.

A family friend of ours sadly lost their son in a tragic suicide, Nick was only
17.

My parents have known the family since they were about my age. They would constantly fly up to Surfers to visit them.
Dad has always had a strong relationship with Nick and he will miss him dearly.

Unfortunately I never really got the chance to know Nick. However the times I did see him he was always the daredevil type, always playing around, joking and laughing. He loved to be the centre of attention.

I remeber one time when we were all up in surfers. We went to sea world, and just for fun he would trip or fall on purpose just to get a laugh.

I don’t know what had changed with him, and I probably never will. I will always remember him as the kid that wanted to be a stunt man.

This is a tragic loss and my thoughts are with the family.

My parents flew up today for the funeral, unfortunatly I was unable to make it.

Rest In Peace Nick, you will be missed by all that loved and knew you.
